How to fade self harm scars?

0

I’ve been clean for about a month now and since my cuts healed up I’ve been using bio oil to try and reduce it and fade, but the problem is I do track and for practices I’ve just been wearing long sleeve shirts and pants. Competitions are coming up and as part of the require d uniform we have to wear spandex shorts and shirts. My scars are on both my thighs and on my left arm, what can I do to try and conceal them or blend them in?

Mederma works good on surgical scars so I would try that out

Try tanning. Get tanning lotion and lay in the sun it helps fade them.

Mederma works wonders. Also, time will help fade the scars. Apply lotion often. To conceal them, use some make up that matches your skin. Rub that in and it should help. If not, there is a concealer that is a green color. The green color masks all redness and helps a ton. Good luck and stay strong.

The people before me already have made great points but another thing you can try is using lemon juice. It works as a natural bleach and should help them fade stronger. With the green makeup mentioned green counter acts red really well but don't forget concealer in your skin tone to finalize things so it doesn't look as obvious.
