Having a minor health issue. I’ve been suffering from some constipation for a few days now and I took some milk of magnesia and it works a bit. I am rarely in this situation. What helps for anyone in this situation?

fuuukkkk milk of magnesia, you need probiotics.... 3 glasses of Milk?? juice??? are you guys fukin crazy?? Don't take juice, you don't need all that refined sugar. Don't take milk, you don't need all that lactose - too much milk can CAUSE constipation.

You're constipated because your body doesn't have the proper amount of enzymes to break down the shit in your digestive tract. You need probiotics. Get 2 billion CFU's of Acidophillus at your neighborhood Walmart and take 2 tablets 30 minutes before every meal or after a meal. Do that about 2-3 times a day for a week, you should start shittin regular without putting all that extra junk in your body.

A healthy intestinal tract is shitting at least 2-3 times per day. Keep up with the acidophilus until you're up to that frequency, then lower your dosage to keep yourself healthy.

if you have constipation, the best thing might be to eat a lot of fruit. if eating the recommended amount does not do it, try drinking a lot of fruit juice. if this does not work, eat something to give you diarrhea, but i would just stick to eating fruit.

Eating good balanced meals every day is what you need to do from here on. Yes you also need to be drinking plenty of water every day as well.Not sugar drinks which most fruit juice and fizzy drinks are full of.DO NOT drink milk to try and flush your system out as others have mentioned,they are not right here.Also ...Vegetables are far better than fruit but you need fruit as well to balance things out. In the morning try drinking a large glass of hot water,nothing in it at all, just water.As this will help you body get rid off unwanted toxins and start the day of clean.I have a friend who many years ago use to hike for days and with out much fibre and good foods in his system ,because you simply couldn't carry what you need with you,but the only way he would flush out his body was to drink hot water to stop being constipated. Not having the right amount of fibre in the body as a regular thing isn't something long term you should be doing but the water helps.Also perhaps for right now,go get some prune juice or better still eat about 6 or so of them.
