how to deal with being alone

1

i have always had a hard time making friends, and have never had a best friend or even a close group of friends. i have tried many times in the past but the rejection began to feel worse then the loneliness. i feel as though i am running out of methods to distract me from my loneliness, any ideas?

honestly i don't even worry about loneliness anymore. i used to constantly worry about it then i decided to spend my time alone working on myself. the people who you need around you will gravitate towards you either way no matter what you do.

Immerse yourself in something you enjoy and you will find yourself with people around you. For instance, I'm an art major and therefor I've put myself toward photography and drawing and painting and everything else that allows my mind to create what I find beautiful. When you enjoy something truly and people are around then they will want to join you with your happiness. I've had people walk up to me just simply because they see me having so much fun with my art. It doesn't have to be art even but even something like playing video games. You get online and talk to people just so you can accomplish something, in the end you will meet knew people. just don't get so attached that they can walk away and you get hurt. Don't be afraid of rejection there's nothing wrong you are doing they are probably just busy with other things or people.
