How long until scars fade?

There's really no easy answer to your question. It completely depends on how deep the cuts are and it also depends on the type of skin you have. It usually takes a couple of months until they fade (of course depending on the depth of the cuts) and it can take up to 2 years for them to disappear or at least fade properly. However, if you have shitty skin (like me) they might stay visible for way longer than that. Anyways, if you ever need anybody to talk to, you can message me. ;)

It really depends on how deep you've had cut yourself and how fast your skin heals in general. It's not guaranteed that they will completely fade away though. That's the sad part of self-harm. Some scars will always stay there with you. Please remember that the next time you're attempting to cut yourself.I don't cut deep, but when I do it takes about two weeks till my wounds are completely healed. Then you can see only a darker color on my skin. Don't know how long it takes till it completely fades away.You can always talk to me about self-harm or anything else..

Some scars don't fade. And other scars take longer then other!! everyone is different.

everyones skin is different and some will take longer to fade than others.

They have these silicon strips you can buy that are supposed to help heal scars. My mom had surgery, used them, and said they helped. Look them up on amazon.
