How do I talk about sexual abuse?

0

I really want to tell my favourite teacher about my abuse. When I try and tell him I get nervous and embarrassed because I feel like its my fault.

It's not your fault hun, don't ever blame yourself, I would tell someone you trust, you could tell your teacher, the police, or a trusted friend or adult. You don't deserve to be abused by anyone, you deserve to feel loved, cared for and safe, stay strong, you are not alone. :) (hugs)

You must speak out. It is not at all your fault sweetheart. You are a victim. I don't care if it is a stranger, friend or even a family member... it is not your fault. Your teacher will help you. The first step is to say the words and you can do it. You have it in you to change your world. God Bless

maybe try writing it down and meeting with them - that's what I've had to do for most things that I confide to other people - write down what you would like to say, in case your voice fails or you feel like backing out - just hand it to them
