My friends are all getting jobs here in the states making substantial salaries. I am going abroad to start working for a menial paycheck while also pursuing my dreams of helping people (in orphanages) and in becoming a professional athlete.
If this is your dream then go for it, but if you rather wait for a job that'll pay really good for something similar then wait. It's your choice. Can you afford the amount they are paying you? Or do you rather wait for a better opportunity? I learned to look into my sources and not to rush things.
There is very little that is similar to this opportunity. The pay is not great but I do have debt from college loans to pay off. However, connections from this journey can have me networking with some people in high places~think government leaders and CEOs.
