How do I get rid of this sad feeling inside?

It wont go away..
Everyday I feel like a disappointment to my family and friends. Sometimes I wonder if this sadness will ever go away. I can’t even remember what real happiness is anymore

I was in your shoes just five months ago. I know what it feels like to feel completely lifeless and feel as if your life is totally pointless. I felt like the sadness was just never going to go away and I'd be stuck like that for the rest of my life. I think the thing that really changed me and made me the optimistic person I am today was my own mindset on things. From just changing my mindset on everything and thinking about things positively it really helped a lot. I know what you're thinking, you've tried it and it's crap or you're just thinking it's utter bullshit. I thought the same thing until I really tried it and it gradually helped me get better. I just thought to myself one day, "I can't be like this the rest of my life, I have to do something about it." And then I tried really hard to get better. You just have to want to get better and do something about it. I also tried therapy and that really helped, talking to someone about your feelings once a week and getting their advice is greatly beneficial and I suggest you try that. Other than that, just try and fake it for now. I know life seems so shitty, but it doesn't have to be. :-) I hope things get better for you!

In all honesty you have to do what is right for you, even IF someone is dissapointed in you, that is not your problem. Have you have heard the quote, "What others think of you is none of your business."? Also, find like-minded people who DO appreciate and support you. Join a club that revolves around a hobby, read, volunteer, find out what you are really passionate about and just do it!! :DTake some time for yourself to figure out specifically why you are so sad. Talk to anyone you feel you can trust and be honest with them about how you feel. Anyone who really cares will listen and support you.I've been feeling a lot of anxiety and sadness and such too, but I am taking steps to lessen that and talk with people who support me, including a counselor.

Real happiness is whatever brings a smile to your face even when you're bawling your eyes out. For me, it's reading. There is nothing I love more than buying a cheesy romantic novel at Barnes and Noble and then going home to read it. Your sadness may never completely go away but doing things that you enjoy will help keep your sadness at bay and nearly invisible. Do what makes you happy regardless of how it makes the people around you feel.

Sometimes up and downs comes in life, we fell that sadness never leaves us. DO what you like, never bother what others think of it. It might be reading a book or writing a blog or playing a sport. Friends and family never gets disappointed, its just the the way you fell. If some issue is causing sadness do tell others and get it solved. The best way you can get rid of sadness is by involving in something that you like no matter what the consequence is.
