God always answers prayer. The common answers are 1) yes 2) no and 3) wait. So don't give up on prayer and don't discount God because you don't get the answer you want. And Angel Demon is correct in his advice...pray as if everything depends upon God. Act as if everything depends upon you.
1 Peter 2:13-14 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right.
Proverbs 15:22 Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed.
Seek financial advise from local authorities if you need help.
Don't ignore things that can help you down here-God works through others! If your problem is with money, look for employment opportunities, or ways you can make money on the side if you already have a job. There may be a way for you to help your situation that you didn't realize is there! Remember everything happens for a reason. There would be no light without darkness, so be ready to face the darkness, if that's troubles with money, or down periods in your life. You will appreciate the light so much more. All the best etc.
Many people interpret God as someone who will take all of your hardships away should you ask it of Him, and yet this is far from the truth. God would like nothing more than to see you pull through your struggles with your own two hands, with your own willpower. God isn't someone who goes around performing people's personal errands at their whim to make their life easier. Would you go around performing all of your child's personal errands and chores to make their lives easier? Surely as any parent would know, this is not a way to build a good character in a person. This would 'spoil' a person, making them much more ill-mannered. As any good parent, God would like to see you succeed on your own, through your own wisdom and effort. I'm sure you can do it. He put His faith in you for a reason.
If you are having financial troubles, then seek a source of financial income. If you have a job and it isn't paying well enough, then search for a job with higher income. The same basic principle can be applied to any scenario in life. If you would like to acquire something, then make the effort to obtain it. It isn't just going to come to you. It's up to you to make it happen.
You have to work at it. God doesn't always just do things for you. He can, and he might, but he wants you to learn how to work for yourself. He'll put job opportunities in front of you, or other ways to make money, and you have to take it. He probably won't just give you the money.
GOD IS NOT A FREAKIN' BANK ACCOUNT!!!!!!!!
if you don't have money then go find a job and earn.
If we all just sit there pray and hope he'd hear our prayers then no one would be poor in this world. we'd all be billionaires.
