How can I help my friend who won’t see a therapist?

A friend of mine has severe depression and anxiety, but she also has trust issues to the point where she doesn’t trust mental health professionals. She doesn’t want to take medication either, and I don’t know what to do to help her. Part of the reason she won’t see a therapist is because she has suicidal ideation and doesn’t want a therapist to force to to go to a hospital or call the police or something. She is also a transwoman who doesn’t pass very well, which makes it hard for her to feel comfortable in social situations, so she has no other friends besides me, and honestly I’m not even a great friend, I live far away from her right now, and I have my own problems which makes it hard for me to help her. I don’t know what to do, I think she needs to get professional help, but she is afraid to see a therapist and is afraid to take medication, and she’s told me that she doesn’t even really want to get better, most of the time she just wants to die. I don’t even know what to do. I am completely at a loss.

I'm so glad that you also understand what is going on. Unfortunately I live over 2 hours away from her, so I can't really go with her to a therapy session, otherwise I would. I do'nt know what to do because she doesn't trust therapists, and she doesn't like the idea of opening up to a stranger, and the more I talk to her about it the more she closes up to the possibility of going.
