How can i get rid of the anxiety?

2

It’s been almost a week now since it’s started. It escalates more so when i’m trying to sleep or i haven’t got my mind occupied. It starts as a hurting pain in my chest, an overwhelming feeling takes over. Heart starts to pound harder and faster. It then goes down into my guts almost like i can’t breathe. Then when it really gets bad, an adrenalin rush comes over me i get flustered and start to shake. I feel SO angry at everything and everyone it makes me want to cry and just go bezerk. It’s been almost a week and i just don’t know what to do…….

I know the feeling. The best advice I can give is when you feel it coming on, find some place to sit or lay down away from people and activity. Take as deep of breaths as you can, and try to get your mind on something else. Anything else that isn't negative or triggering. You can deal with whatever triggered the attack once you're in a better state, but for now you should focus on calming yourself down. Distraction is the most useful tool I've found for myself. Like animals? Find a pet to sit with. Passionate about a TV show? Turn on your favorite episode. It all depends on where you are/what the environment is like, though. And of course, if there's someone there that you trust, go to them and tell them what's going on. Hopefully they're understanding and can stay and help bring you back to yourself. Best of luck!!

Breathe in through your nose, out through your mouth. If there's a particular singer, tv show, or movie you love you could use that to calm you down. Tea (such as chamomile) can help and maybe it would help to burn some incense of a smell you like (I would recommend lavender). It may also help to write down your feelings even if they don't make sense and you could rip it up or burn it. You could also try meditation for the angry thoughts. If there's someone who can help you then do not hesitate to go to them.
