Help with getting relief from bursitis please!

0

Im wondering if any one has had bursitis and found some way of getting help with the pain.Or what else had a doctor suggested for you?.I had it in both hips, one is far worse than the other though!

I have had the issue a few times now, Ive taken anti inflammatory tabs for some time and in the past had injections in my hip,but i get very little relief, some people get good results, but unfortunately that’s not the case for me.
I have the problem come and go over about a 2.5 year period, extremely painful, and with out much ease.
I just had my last injection a few days ago now,and was told that if this time I dont get relief they want give me anymore as its just not doing anything. And it driving me crazy,as I also have other pain issues as well grrr…Ahhh!!!.
I am on very strong pain tablets, which help slightly, but I don’t want to be on these forever if i can help it.Yes I have had another Doctors opinion and its much the same.Manage with pain tablets!
Has any one had this problem where they have had no relief,or little, with injections or tablets, but perhaps have found something else,to help .

May be or your doctor has know of something, that perhaps is new and they or I have not heard of,please let me know.
Thanks for listening! :-) and any helpful information. :-)

There are many foods that are known to have anti inflammatory agents in them, as well maybe joint supplements? All I could say is do some research. The dogs I have with joint and hip problems get "joint juice" injections and glucosamine HCL tabs as well as green lipped muscle 'extract' (these work in people too). Sorry if this isnt much help but I would definetely see a different doctor, or one with some good creditentials or specialty. It costs extra but they can explain more options and treatments. Ice it often, and do mild therapy. Inflammation hurts but not keeping the joint active is even worse. Your new best friend may be ibeprofen and your perscription meds. Good Luck and take it easy
