If you have a dream, then go for it! Don't let someone who gave up on their dreams, talk you out of yours. If you want to be an author, then you should constantly work on your skills, because nothing comes without hardwork. If you have the courage to pursue your dream, if you are determined, and if you give it your best, your dream can come true :)Best of luck to you :D
I've been following my dreams since I can remember. I still am, and I can't say that I would have ever wanted to live my life any other way. :)
If you have a dream, then pursue it. Everything comes with hard work, so be prepared for obstacles along your way. Every obstacle is like a test to see just how much you really want your dream. No matter what gets put in your way, overcome it, and your dreams will steadily keep coming closer and closer until one day, it is within your grasp, and you can reach out for it and obtain it.
As for you becoming an author, I would like to see that happen. Keep on writing, and get some books out there. The world needs more authors, and who knows? You might just wind up writing a best seller. But, you'll never know if you don't try. So go for it!
If you want to achieve success, keep going in the right path, remember the path to success is filled with thorns..People will always try to pull you down, have a read about the life of many successful men they have been considered utterly useless by different people but they kept going on until they reached their destination..Perhaps people around you are just seeing the negative aspects of what you want to be but you should..
I'm trying to do it now. To follow my dreams :) Earlier, I wished days and nights to have my own electric guitar and be a guitarist. Now when I imagine this younger girl, who I was then, wishing for it, I can't believe that I learned so many things. Yeah, many people try to suppress this dream (I play too loud sometimes ;) ), but I really love to play and compose my music and express in it what I feel... It's worth any difficulties and work :') Wish you good luck, keep going !
i also want to be a writer .... because of my health issues i have not. also havent finished high school i regret not going now because i feel like a bum! haha good luck on following your dreams i really hope youh do
Well since I was about 7 I have always wanted to become a pediatrician. That has been my whole entire life. Becoming a doctor is my passion. Even though I'm still in high school, I'm going to a high school for students who want to be in the medical field. I couldn't be happier at that school. My school is perfection, I love it so much. Even though I'm not a doctor yet, I've taken the first step in that direction and it feels good even though I'm not there yet.
I'm a filmmaker, and I started by making videos for fun with friends on days off of school, slowly I realized that it was what I loved, and I started to work to make it a job, I ended up finding a company that pays to make educational films, and now that's my job. So following your dreams is a great thing to do, but the key to being successful while doing it is to be flexible and always open to opportunities that may seem strange at first. If you wan't it, go for it, and always be looking for that little niche where you can do what you love, but also support yourself doing it. So follow your dreams, but go into them with an open mind and looking for new and interesting ways to do it.
It might also be useful to remember that many different dreams can be linked together, and that our aspirations may change over time. Maybe more importantly, while our dreams can be part of defining who we are, there are many other ways in which we define ourselves (this too can change over time).
Well, you should follow your dream. However, what if being a writer doesn't really work out for ya? You should have a back-up plan or something.
For example, one of my dream jobs is to be a psychologist. I am studying psychology, but I am also very interested in designing my very own clothes. So I will become a psychologist and on my spare time, I will try and design my very own clothing-line. If designing clothes actually don't work out, I have something to fall back on.
I think you should think about that. Since authors don't really make that much money, and it's actually really hard to be a writer. Trust me, I have tried in the past and failed miserably.
I hope my answer helped.
