do others find that some ‘listeners’ aren’t very helpful?

I can definitely understand where you are coming from. I often run into people like this when I vent on here as well.Anyway, I would love to talk to you anytime. Just message me and I would be extremely happy to talk to you! Many people don't know how to help some people and so they just troll around. I love to help people so just contact me!

I think the purpose of "venting" is not so much getting advice as it is to go over what you think, and figuring out what it is you want. Doing it in a chatroom just feels much more sane then talking to yourself. But in truth with most of the issues, they are most likely best done privately.I personally have not yet found any one person that can solve my riddles, other then myself. It does feel good talking with someone else and not feeling alone, but a textbook or Google seam to be some of the only ones that has some answers, and in most cases I disagree with them and just find them plain wrong.

I have ran into people like that on here too, but not everyone is like that. It's all random, one day you could meet someone really awesome so don't give up. :) I love to listen, so feel free to message me whenever. There are good people on here, too

I can understand where you are coming from, however this is a free website that does not entitle someone to listen. Some people, like myself, actually do care and like to listen. Although, not everyone knows what to say to someone when they vent...we aren't professionals! Keep looking and you'll find a a good listener who has patience. :)

Hey, I understand that you are upset with this issue, but you shouldn't, in a way. Why? Because this is a free anon chat that you are using, which means ANYONE could use it, and THERE ARE trolls out there who are awful and like to lay down bad things and hurt others. BUT there are still some good listeners out there who are willing to listen and help out as much as they can, like me! If you want you can talk to me anytime :) Also, I would like you to think of it in a positive matter, if they disconnected you saved yourself the time to vent to someone who won't bother! Now you can go and find someone who will! :D

Been coming to this site on and off for 2 years now, and never found any one helpful. While I can accept the fact that a lot, or even most, of the people on here won't be able to help since it's free and anonymous, to go so long with zero help is just... pathetic.

I have done a course to help people with anything they need help with. If you ever need to talk just give me a message and I'll see what I can do :)
