Do listeners on hold get to watch a listener in action?

That is not something I would consider adding into the chat. Venters should feel comfortable to vent to a stranger (something that one normally wouldn't do) - I don't feel adding Listeners behind a one-way mirror so to speak would add to the ease of venting. Anonymity and privacy is very important due to the delicate nature of the conversations.

No, but though that is not a bad idea, it would detract from the private, one-to-one intent of the chat service. We do not "train" Listeners, listening is all-volunteer, and if someone believes themselves capable of imparting advice on another, they are free to do so.

No everything is private, even when in a chat a different name is used so no identity is given out

could you not add an option where the ventor could choose to allow waiting listeners to watch?
