Do I have an Eating Disorder?

0

I haven’t been eating for the last few days. I don’t do it on purpose or anything, but I just don’t get hungry. I feel fine, and probably have had more energy in the last few days than I have in a while. I eat a small lunch, but I haven’t eaten breakfast or dinner in almost 4 days. I haven’t lost any weight, but I know it’s a problem not to eat. If I was hungry and had lost a lot of weight, I would know it’s a problem, but so far I haven’t seen any negative changes in my body or my mind. How bad of a problem is this?

I would see a doctor and rule out any physical causes (like issues with stomach acid or imbalances of hormones relating to hunger) before you jump to an eating disorder. Its possible, but from what you've described, unlikely. If you can do it without feeling nauseous, try eating some breakfast or dinner regardless of whether or not you're hungry. Maybe getting back in the habit will help, and either way it will prevent some negative side effects to not eating.
