In June of 2013 I found out I have a herniated disc it cases me alot of pain that I cannot walk or stand without feeling pain. This is stopping me from getting a job I refuse to get surgery since I heard alot of people ended up worse then they were before. I know my doctor won’t help me get on sick benefits because I had I fight with her two years ago to even get on depression pills and to get off work for a bit due to me almost killing myself. A few friends say to speak to a lawyer others say to get a 2nd opinion.

Aw hello! I'm really sorry to hear about your herniated disc. You should talk to your doctor about the surgery and find out about the risks then fully decide if you want to take it or not. You said that other people have taken the surgery and that it had gotten worse for them. But everyone's body is different and I guess it's completely natural to not let yourself go through that if that's what you've heard. I don't really know the answer to this and I'm sorry, I just wish I could help, But what I can say is I think you should get a second opinion. Explore more options, see if there are any more options! And remember to keep trying and to stay strong. It can be hard, But there's always a way in life. If you want something, you have to grab it. You should speak to the doctors, see what they say. Maybe the surgery might even help! I know you're going through a lot. And you must be, But, I believe you can do it. I believe you can get better if you try your hardest. You should ask your doctor if they can give you any medicine to help with the pain. Hope you get better.

Well, if you had a fight with your doctor, the first thing to do is to find a new one. In any case, you need the advice from someone who is probably more informed than you, and you need help in case you're sure that you don't want to have a surgery, because there is another way to heal, but you need advices.A friend of mine was in your same situation. Because he's young, he didn't want to have a surgery, and thanks to his doctor he did exsercises for his back, he would gets up and stand against the wall for some minutes when we were in class, and he continued with his excersises. He had this problem around january/february, and when I saw him at september when we restart school, he was completely healed. Talk to a doctor, he can helps you. :)
