Hey, my name is Amy. For being 18, I've been through a heck of a lot.
I was diagnosed with extreme depression at the beginning of this year when I tried taking my own life. At the time of my diagnosis, I was also diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa. I've also suffered self harm, and lived in a family where I suffered emotional abuse.

But I have recovered from all of this, and now hold an appreciation for life which I never had before. I'm here for teens who want someone to talk to who can relate (and is in the same age bracket) or anyone who would like to have a listening ear. I find happiness in helping people.

Despite not being a trained psychologist, I speak to adolescents coming out of therapy and have written many a pamphlets that are available in my country (New Zealand. I am also openly bisexual (and have been for six years now – not a phase!) so am willing to talk to any members of the LGBTQIAP community <img src='https://blahtherapy.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif&#039; alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />
