- Mood : Annoyed
Your family really should try to sympathise with you @neokasey82, let them know how loud noises make you feel and hopefully they will try to make things work for you Kasey, hope everything goes OK, I’m always here if you need to chat or vent, message me anytime, my inbox is always open, stay strong, you are never alone (hugs)
Errr… why do you feel annoyed exactly? I apologize for not comprehending why reading your message.
If it’s the loud noise that may be bothering you (as Oliver stated), put some earphones with classical/instrument music or something. They’ll cancel em out. (or do something else…)
Sorry, I’ve been offline lately, but I have a mental illness called misophonia that basically makes me have a really really bad reaction to certain noises; mostly eating or mouth noises are the worst for me. The sound of crunchy foods being eaten is a really bad noise, and often makes me wince, flinch, and feel intense rage or fear. My family knows about my condition, and I try to wear headphones to block it out, but most of the time I can hear crunchy foods being eaten over music. Sometimes, even just seeing people eat the food (i.e., the motion of their mouth) is a trigger.
I hope this explains it.
Oh, shoot, I forgot to tag you: @SigmaSuccour
