Understand one thing. Life doesn’t have to be full of darkness and depression. You are not ugly, your life is worth more than you can comprehend. You owe yourself that love and wide eyed gaze that you gladly bestow on anyone else. Whether it be for their looks or for the life they lead. You deserve to give yourself that attention. You don’t need to prove it to anyone. Deep inside you is that soft glow that shows all those around you something special. It starts out as a glow but once you realize you have it, it sparks. Realization of all the things you can do for yourself causes you to become unstoppable. A force to be reckoned with. People’s opinions of you won’t tie you down. Sure, opinions can be constructive and can enable you to be a better version of yourself. But you, by no mean, have to be attached to them. People nowadays aren’t sincere. They don’t take the time to sit down with a person and dissect every inch of their soul and what makes a person tick. They see what they want to see through a post and they think that is it to a person. But it isn’t. We are so much more than the things we post online. We all have a story and we all want it to be heard so that we are understood. So why give them a second thought? Why give their half baked opinion a second glance? You’re creating your life as you go and if they can’t see the value in that and if they are cowardly enough to hide behind a screen to tear you down, then you don’t need to give them the time of day. You know your worth and you don’t deserve to have anyone disrupt your peace and your morals.

Take care of yourself and don’t give in to petty talk. All that matters is what you think of yourself. You deserve all the wonderful things in life. You just have to allow yourself the happiness that life can offer. You’re all you’ve got at the end of the day, and you better hold on tight to yourself. Once you allow yourself the peace of mind that you deserve, all good things will come your way. Because it’s then that you can understand the important things in your life and the things that you can let go. Because they simply don’t matter…an you do.
