”When we hit our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change.” – Avatar Aang. It’s very possible that what’s happening right now could be a turning point for you, Cody. I don’t really know much about addiction. But I do know what it’s like to feel alone. There’s nothing wrong with expressing how you feel about negative circumstances. It’s okay to let yourself feel sad. But just know in your heart that no matter what you feel, you are not alone. You have an entire community of people here, some of whom are going through the same thing. There was a point in my life where I was the lowest I’d ever been, and I thought I’d never see the light of day again. But now that I’ve gotten to where I am today, I can look back on it and actually smile. Because I survived. And I found friendship and love and happiness and….things I never thought I’d have. You can, too. *hugs*
Good luck on your recovery. Inbox me, if you ever wanna talk. Take care of yourself, alright?
These are some songs that got me through some tough times. Thought maybe you’d be bored at the hospital and might have some time to listen to them.
Please keep fighting @hardsun, you will beat your addiction and come out so much stronger, hold your head up high and don’t let anything get you down, great things will happen to you, be courageous, keep going and never give up, you can do it, you are a warrior who will overcome, message me anytime if you want to chat, my inbox is always open, remember you are never alone (hugs)
Thank you c: I really appreciate the gesture
My mom’s boyfriend went through the same stuff not even a week ago, he tried killing himself because we were sending him back to rehab because he relapsed while at rehab. But you know what? He’s still here, he’s still trying. You can, and you WILL beat this sickness. I have 100% faith in you that you can overcome this and then become a better person. You may feel like this now, but you’ll feel better as the days go by. And remember, you are not alone. Your family doesn’t know how to talk to you, and it’s probably hard for them too. Keep your head up and try talking. Because everything is okay in the end.
