Get a different therapist. No good therapist should be bringing god into the equation in a conversation like that, nor should they be telling you that you’re overreacting. Honestly, change therapist.

Yeah, I agree with the others. Finding a new therapist would be for the best.
A good one would be hearing you out and trusting you, not telling you that you’re overreacting and going through a phase. She’s letting her religious beliefs interfere with her job, and that’s not right..
Being transgender myself, I understand the frustration of not being heard.
