In July i started na internship that would allow me to, in two years, finally pratice my dreamed profession. However, i’m really hating it and everyday, when i arrive, my first thought is ”Oh god, i can’t wait to go back home”. I honestly don’t know what i should do, because giving up this internship means giving up upon my dream job. Any advice?

    Mood : Disappointed
    • If you don’t like your current internship, try to look for another position that you enjoy in your profession @alice-2, you will find the right job/position for you Alice, something wonderful and awesome will come your way Alice, you are a lovely and incredible person who truly deserves all the best out of life, stay upbeat and know you will make all your dreams come true, believe in yourself and never give up Alice, you can do it, inbox me anytime if you want to chat or vent, stay strong, you are never alone :) (hugs)

    • As Oli said, try to find another place to continue you intership if you have the chance, Alice. If that’s not possible, try to think it’ll last for a temporal period of time. I’ve worked in some places with high leves of stress, where I felt underrated, exploited, low paid, and ignored by some of my co workers and bosses. To cope with it, I’d constantly tell to myself that that situation wasn’t going to last forever. I also did some meditation/listen to music/watch a short TV show/etc. to calm myself and feel better before going to work. BUT! Please, never let anyone there mistreat you or going over you.
I don’t know how much time you have left in that place, but think you won’t end up working in there. I know you’ll achieve your dream job, don’t give up an believe in yourself! If you need to chat about it, or anything else that’s worrying you, my inbox is open!

    • Thank you for your words and help @m1s1m3 and @oliver. ’ll try to focus on the fact that is just something temporary and that, in the future, it could improve my life. I just really hope being here gets easier with time.
