    i was raised in a family where we were taught obedience is the best way to show respect and love to your parents. im a silent type of person when i stepped into college i experienced having friends where i was gradually being ”trained’ to just keep quiet and now that im out of that circle im having a hard time finding my voice…
    it is so hard to say i dont like this and that without feeling super guilty and anxious
    i just want to be someone who is confident of their opinions and is standing for something they love
