I would talk to your boss and let him know how you are feeling @little-angel-2, I know work commitments are important but they really should give you enough time and notice so you can attend and prepare, do speak with your boss and see if they can make alternate arrangements for you Rain, hope things work out positively for you, feel free to inbox me anytime if you need to talk, stay strong, you are never alone (hugs)
I completely understand you Rain. I feel the same about last minute changes when I already have my week organized, so I can do everything I want to do with the less stress possible. It’s understandable that you are worried about not being there, but if you cannot include that activity in your schedule, that’s it. Your boss should have told you a few days before. They cannot expect you to be at work for meetings, courses, info, etc. whenever they want and without enough previous anticipation. We have a life outside work.
Yes, exactly. It’s so stressful and I can’t just drop everything else to make room for something I didn’t know about until the last minute. I ended up not going. I hope they don’t see this as a bad thing at work. It’s their responsibility to notify me in advance.
