I would do what you feel is right for you @jsawg, if your father abandoned you and wants to come back into your life after 3 years, personally I would find it difficult to forgive but you should do what you think is right for you, I would talk to your father, let him know how you feel and how hurt you are by his actions, be as open and honest with him as you can, hope everything works out and you come to a decision that is beneficial for you as you move forward in life because in the end, what matters is your happiness, feel free to inbox me anytime if you want to chat or vent, stay strong, you are never alone (hugs)
