I know. It’s unfortunate that those who have been abused have to live with the scars forever, while the people who abused usually find nothing wrong in what they did as they live their lives. But there are ways to retrain your brain, experience happiness and try to be courageous as you go through life. And I am always here for you if you ever need to vent or need help, because we need to support each other through all sorts of times in our lives where we need others.

What cracks me up the most about childhood abuse, is that it comes from the people who are suposed to protect you and take care of you. Unfortunately, not everybody is aware of the damage they can really do. I’m sorry to hear you’ve gone through these experiences, Mariko. As you said, the scars are forever, but so is your strenght. Despite every dark moment and every bad person that you’ve found in your way, you’re here today, standing like a true fighter.
