news update with finn ﾍ(￣▽￣*)ﾉ
- My job at the vet clinic is going rather well. I’m training to be a tech assistant (No, not a promotion or anything like that) which is pretty cool. It’s a lot to take in, a lot to remember, as well as do. But I’m still training and I’ll get it down soon. I’m trying to be more positive about this job. It isn’t that I don’t like it, it’s just harder than any job I’ve had. Because it matters. If I mess up it could put someones animal in danger, and I would never want to be responsible for that. So it’s mostly just nerves and what not. But all in all, it’s going alright. I’m hoping though, that I don’t get burnt out at this job. I mean, there’s a lot to do yeah.. But I don’t know if this is the career choice for me. I need to do a little more searching and self discovery first.
- I DID get back into contact with my ex… Though I’d rather call him a friend now. Him and I have been talking since February, it’s was a little spotty during the beginning though. We also manged to meet up (little over an hour) before he moved to Oregon. When we met up, it honestly felt like old times. It was a little awkward, but after that passed it felt routine. We joked, we laughed. It was nice, and I’m quite glad that he’s back in my life. He hurt me more than anyone ever has, which when I say it out loud (or type and read, in this instance) I feel very stupid. He hurt me multiple times and it all started out kind of like this. I don’t know, maybe I’m being paranoid. I don’t have any intentions of being romantic with him so, hopefully it’ll be smooth sailing.
- Speaking of said my friend, I’m going to Oregon to visit him! Not only is it a state I find absolutely beautiful!!! But I’ll get to spend some quality time with him, and we can catch up and what not. Also I really love love lOVE that airport! I especially love mine! It’s very big, every wall is filled with amazing art and cool sculptures here and there. I love flying on the plane. Let’s pray I get a window seat. I’m also excited to see the other airport honestly haha.
- I’ve got a legit therapist/mental health expert appointment on the 27th this month. I’m elated!!! This is the doctor who is apart of the transgender department in my, uhh, doctor clinic area? I guess. I’m with Kaiser and they have a little trans+ program thing you can get signed into and they help you with hormones, surgeries and name change stuff too. So I am going to ask to get my WPATH letter and ask about coverage! Mad exciting.
