My family always have thought the worse of me my entire life and even though i am grown, it affects my way of thinking and how i handle people outside of them. How can I ever put my foot down and not let others walk all over me?! This is the big question I need to know.

    Mood : Confused

    • You’re a strong person and very valuable to this world, you are worthy of the best. Don’t let anyone walk all over you, speak your mind, stand in your truth, tell them how you feel and how the way they have treated you is not in the best standards and that you deserve respect. You are so special, think of yourself as a goddess who only accepts to be treated fairly and with love. If they don’t respect that, they don’t deserve your energy or your time. I understand how you feel because I went through something similar growing up but I was mostly forced to do more work than my other siblings, and been mostly taken advantage of, at some point I knew that it is wrong and it’s enough and that I deserve to be cared about, loved and helped and not everything has to fall in my hands. It’s important for others to be grateful and say thank you when you help them and vise versa… balance is important when it comes to giving and receiving… if that balance isn’t there, it is abuse and abuse isn’t healthy. Everything will be ok, sending you positive vibes and hope you can begin to gain more strength and trust in yourself that you can stand up for yourself in the face of any wrong doing or abuse from others.
