You can also work in the other direction and branch out to other people/groups/activities so your mind is busy with other things, and you’ll feel less pained by what your friends are doing.
Jealousy is just a feeling, an emotion. You don’t have to be driven by them. If he is a heterosexual guy, and you and him aren’t involved, he will eventually spend a lot of time with one girl, and the relationship will become fairly exclusive. You won’t necessarily lose him as a friend, but he will spend a lot of time with her. If that bothers you, you need to invest your friendship energy in a more available source.

Jealousy in the future can hurt you and your friendship, he doesn’t ”belong” to you , he has the right to have any friends you know?
