    I am plagued by self-doubt. One moment I’m thinking about how much I need help, the next I’m convincing myself I’m being dramatic and exaggerating. That I’m seeking attention. I don’t know what’s real

    Mood : Confused

      //I don’t know what’s real//
      > Nothing is real. Real is what you make of it.
      Now that may sound cheezy, but its true. If you say to yourself often enough, that you need help, your brain would start figuring out ways on how you can seek help. Even if there is not a problem, our minds are creative enough to come up with a problem even when its not there. (not hard to believe)
      .
      By your whole status update, you are portraying that you have self-doubt. But no where in your message, did you say that you ’want’ confidence and self-belief (i.e belief in yourself).
      What you focus on, becomes real (it takes time).
      Now since your continuous focus (by your message) is self-doubt, you will end up creating it (self-doubt) for yourself.
      Instead of this, if you focus on being confident, and having self-belief. Then your brain will give you ideas on how you can achieve that and practice that. After practicing it you will develop self-belief. (sounds simple right)
      But you have to change your focus,
      focus on things that you want, NOT on what you don’t want.
      In this context, you are focusing on things you don’t want. (so try changing that, makes sense?)
