As humans; as thinking, reasoning beings, the onus is upon ourselves to give our lives meaning according to what we find that fulfills us, and to let go of the people and the belief systems that try to stifle and stymie our progress and growth.

The only rational thing to do is to choose to believe in ourselves and to not fall into the trap of trying to gain the approval of the people and things that do not sincerely care for us in action as well as in word. We cannot afford to make the mistake of trying to believe in the things that do not believe in us.
