    I recently reconnected with an old flame whom I haven’t seen in 8 years. I’ve known him 12. We have quite a history. We never actually were in a relationship as it seemed our timing was always wrong. He just recently ended his marriage (2 months ago). We agree we both still have feelings for each other but he says he isn’t ready for anything right now. I understand but can’t help but feel disappointed, lonely, and the same feelings that I will be alone forever. I hate feeling like this. Why can’t I just find someone who wants to be with me? There’s no saying he won’t want a relationship I a few months, but right now I can’t help feeling like this. Will things ever work out for me?
