Hello, Miss Mariko. You are absolutely correct, you do not require the approval of others in order to find happiness in your life, and there is no sane rule stating otherwise. You do not need the permission of others to find satisfaction with your existence.

The state you are describing is called ”sophrosyne”, which is an ancient Greek word that describes excellence of character, temperance, and self-control. It is a fine thing to aspire to, and once we are sure and confident of ourselves, there is no shame in being proud of our accomplishments.

Good to see you so optimistic! And you’re definitely right. Everything you said is true.

It touched me your comments, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I’m going through a very rough path in my life, but knowing who I am and that I can be strong for myself was a big change (positive one), and then seeing you guys aproving it and giving me so much support…just thank you.
