    Hello everyone, I’m seeking some advice. I have generalized anxiety and I especially get anxiety about people leaving me or dying while they are away from me (out of the house, at a party… etc). I’m having some very bad panic and anxiety attacks lately. My dearest ones (the poeple I worry about – mom, boyfriend, close friends) are asking me what they can do to help me with this or how they should act when I get anxious. I dont know what what to tell them? I cant come up with anything constructive. All I want is for them to cancel their plans and stay with me, but I feel like thats not fair to ask someone that. How do I come up with something constructive that might actually work, without being a burden to the ones I love? Does anyone else feel this way? How do you cope with your anxiety and how does your loved ones help you?

    • There’s nothing wrong with wanting to spend time with the ones you love :)
      Try to make plans with them once in a while, it’s actually good for you and for them. Also, have you thought about seeking professional help with your anxiety? It’s always an option if you can afford it

    • I do make plans with them to have fun and quality time. I still get anxious when they are gone though, and I dont know how to deal with that anxiety.

    • Try to relax and take deep breaths @freja, have you tried doing meditation or yoga to calm yourself Freja, do your best to think positively, I’m sure everything will be OK and good things will happen, focus on the nice things hun, you can do this, I’m always here if you need to talk, message me anytime if you want, my inbox is always open, stay strong, you are never alone :) (hugs)
