    As I sit typing in my new home, I keep thinking of the memories I left behind at my old environment. Thought it was abusive, it was home for a good five years of my life. I did have good times there, despite the abuse, but I know now that this is for the best. My own health is more important than trying to stay in a place that makes me unhappy just to cling to the good memories there. However, I will miss the smell of cookies baking during the winter and the sweet, sweet air-conditioning, but sacrifices sometimes have to be made in order to blossom.

      Glad you are doing OK in your new place @bexx, you should look back fondly and with happiness on the good moments you had in your previous place, but you did not deserve to be abused at all, you deserve to live in a place that offers safety and security to you, I’m sure everything will work out for you, things will go great, I’m always here if you need to talk or need a friend, feel free to message me anytime if you want, my inbox is always open, stay strong, you are not alone :) (hugs)
