It’s an interesting subject actually, and I totally see where you’re coming from. Most of the time, I have no idea, I never see myself, I simply assume that I am female because of my gender and what’s going on in the dream, but I have also had a couple one’s where I was male ( which was a little confusing).
Though many times, like the person above mentioned, I’m not really anything, just observing it all like I’m watching a movie playing out.
