I was in a long distance relationship with a guy that I had never met and who was closer than you think. He lived literally a 5 minute drive away from me. But due to school and family issues we were not able to see each other for over a few months.

He recently broke up with me and I was crushed because I loved him. But I realized that long distance tests loyalty and dedication. If he really loved me he wouldn’t have given up so easily and now I’m at peace with myself.

So how did you get over your LDR break-up?

Hello :) Yeah, I think you have absolutely right. Long distance tests loyalty and dedication. So if he wasn’t able to endure this difficult time, it was not true love from his side. It’s painful that people are so, but you know that he wasn’t this one special guy for you, you can be peaceful without him ;) I have a friend who lives in Asia (I’m from Europe) but I don’t expect from him anything more than true friendship. He have girlfriend so it’s easier now even :) But earlier it wasn’t so easy.
