hello im 17 and my boyfriend is 21.. ive known him since I was in the 8th grade and im now going to be a senior is high school… im afraid to tell people cause im not sure what they will think..I live in texas the legal age of consent is 17 so there’s no legal issues I would just like to know other peoples opinions

Anytime you cross that legal drinking age line people have a problem with it. Underage drinking is considered a serious thing in most states. And, even without the intent to give you alcohol it’s often implied that it will happen.

I don’t think you will get too many people saying that it’s wrong, four years isn’t that big of a deal. As long as he treats you with respect and you have a healthy relationship, i think you will be fine.
