Terrible Dreams..help?

0

Lately for the past two weeks I have had awful dreams. Sometimes I feel like its a sign for something usually. But they have gone from zombies coming, from me being murdered or kidnapped. I know its just a dream but sometimes I will just dwell on the dreams and wont stop thinking about it. Sometimes so scary, I get scared to sleep. Just like tonight.

Well Dreams revolve around what happens in our day to day life. If you have a fear of being kidnaped or mugged or hurt, and have recently watched a film on it or something, you may dream about that happening in your dreams. Its our minds self defense mechanics and thought process. Dreams dont tell the future, thats not possible, you cant see into the future neither can your dreams. A sense of falling or dreaming of falling may be a sign your life is not organized or that you are feeling out of control. Dreaming about being hurt may mean you had your feels hurt and that you fear it will happen again. Drowning in a dream means you fear that you cannot do anything to help a situation that arised. Its all in how your life is going. As for your dreams? is prob that something has happened that you feel you cannot do anything about, like your folks divorcing, or a death, or something along those lines, or maybe a Break up. If you have any further questions or wanna chat send me an IM or friend request id be glad to help.

I wanted to write something to help but SoothingSound has it exactly right, they can seem scary and painful but they are just dreams. Yes they are usually caused from events in your life but they could also be related to a scary movie.

I have been through this and it is horrible I often get bad dreams and what I actually found helped is sleeping tablets or night nurse.. just cause it means your in a slightly deeper sleep not noticing your dreams. Or fall asleep to a nice film or programme such as a cartoon leaving good things in your mind as fall asleep. hope this helps a bit and message me if want too talk or know anymore :)

I hate dreaming, even if it's a nice dream. There's really no specific instructions to stop from dreaming but what I do is that I detach myself from the stuff that I don't want to dream. I distract myself with happy things from my favourite hobbies before I sleep. Sorry for the lame advice. Best of luck! Xx

I say you try getting yourself physically safe..? It helps in some cases! Try putting on soft music when you go to bed, have someone near u, try aroma therapy, these sort of things in your surroundings help.. If they do not work, try to not be very worked up, try lucid dreaming. Remember that it's only a dream, it can't touch you. If you aren't able to go through this by yourself, I advice you to seek professional help :) hope this helps
