Stomach pains, and random rib pains….am I pregnant?

For the last two days, I’ve had a sharp pain underneath my ribs, like gas or something. Today, I’ve had a horrible stomach ache all day. No matter how much I eat or drink, it doesn’t go away.

I’ve heard this can be a side effect of pregnancy. My boyfriend and I use condoms every time we have sex, except when we had anal ( don’t ask)

My period was last week, and I took a pregnancy test today, it came up negative ( yay)

Could I be pregnant? I’m not terribly worried, just concerned

Stomach pain isn't generally the first sign of pregnancy. I would try an antacid first. Also a heat pack to help keep everything flowing. Drink water and stay hydrated. If the gas doesn't resolve on it's own in a few more days go and see a doctor.

those aren't really consistent signs of being pregnant, they could just be a result or heart burn or indigestion! If it still worries you, sometimes one test won't prove you're not pregnant so take a few more home tests to be sure, or check with a doctor.

I think it sounds like you have gas. I've had the same problem before. If it doesn't go away after a week or so I would visit your doctor. I ended up having acid reflux and a hernia. The test to detect for acid reflux isn't too bad, you just have to swallow a few different liquids.
