Post Removal Pain

Things are gonna get a bit TMI.

Because of reasons, I had to have my big toe nail removed last wednesday. I was told that I could go back to my normal routine by the next day. I had hoped so, cause I worked the following day. I was forced to call out of work because I couldn’t wear my shoe since it was too painful for my toe and my job depends on me being mobile. I don’t work again until Monday but my toe is still not getting good enough to wear my shoes.

What can I do to just get this thing good enough to wear my shoes again and walk around? I NEED to do this job but the Doctor said the nail would take nine months at least to fully grow back in and that’s just bullshit if it’s going to be painful that entire time.

It is not gonna be painful all that time. Same thing happend to my friend but on finger nail. It will be painful untill skin grows on that part. Meanwhile wrap it up, take some pain meds and wear some comfortable shoes that are not tight. Also, explain your boss the situation so he want be angry if you do not work with full capacity. It will be ok, be patient. :)
