Motivation, where you at?

So I’m a 16 year old Canadian student. I am in a co-op in the morning, then school for 2 periods. those two classes being art and grade 10 English since i failed last year. I used to love art but lately I’ve been really lacking time and motivation to do anything. on average i get4 hours of sleep a night. I can’t go to bed early because i have work and then homework and then shower and get everything ready for the next day. I’m already falling behind especially in art class which is supposed to be my best class. But I honestly can’t handle everything going on in my personal life because I have so much other stuff to worry about. I have no motivation to do anything on my days off since i’m so exhausted. what do?

Sleep definitely would be your best friend, but I understand that time is short. What I would do is, apply for a free period or study hall period- Talk to your counselor about it. Take that time to get homework done, or just sit back and relax. Take a little nap to fuel your energy, or listen to some music to get your imagination flowing. And make sure you're eating good, dear. That'll make everything so much easier. Make sure you take your weekends and other time off to sit back and relax, try to ignore the world the best you can for a little while. Even an hour or so a day of just breathing will make it easier to clear your mind- You can do it.

I know exactly how you feel I go through a similar process every week. Finding a friend who can help you out makes a big difference. Also, in my free time on the weekends I just sleep. I might get up Sunday and do something, but you just have to keep your head up and keep going. Don't stop and don't fall behind, it'll only make things worse. Just keep going. It will be utterly exhausting, but I promise you it will get easier.
