Is it wrong to like someone who is already in a relationship?

During tree planting, this guy and I had a romance of sorts, but he had a girl friend. Now that we’re back home, he’s decided to stay with her, which is understandable. But I fear that I still have feelings for him, and he may still have them for me. I’m worried that if I act upon my feelings I’ll lose him as a friend, but if I don’t act upon them I fear that I’ll lose him. If that makes sense.

What should I do? Put him out of mind, or try and develop something?

You deserve someone that wants to be with you. You can tell him you will be interested in dating again if he becomes single one day (if you are indeed, interested), then either keep him as a friend or don't depending on how hard it is to be around him.

Hang around. Keep him as a friend and see how things go. If he ends up breaking up with this girl, then he'll really respect you for keeping things innocent while he was in a relationship. If he stays with her, well... it must have been meant to be, right? And no one should interfere on a good relationship. I know that's very blunt of me, but it's the best thing to do. I waited for a good 3-4 years for my girl and we're engaged now, so it DOES work out sometimes.
