Well I usually ask them out before I have something to do, like go to class. So I'll just be like "will you go out with me?". Then the answer ensues. If yes, then I'll make a plan to meet up after school or something, then say "ok well, I have to go to class. See you then" then smoothly exit like I'm in a music video. If the answer is no, then I say "Oh, ok. Well, I have to get to class now, so I guess I'll just see you tomorrow in school then" Then I leave while internally boosting my self esteem.
