I feel so alone at the moment and i feel im falling back into my old patterns..

Its been holidays right and ive tried really hard to have a good time and do stuff with friends, but the people i thought were my best friends are ignoring me and are busy, like i ask them to do something with me and they dont reply then they upload facebook statuses and stuff so obviously they are ignoring me, and usually i have my boyfriend to help me get through those stages where i feel depressed but hes at the coast for a bit with no reception so i feel so lonely, no one talks to me and i dont do anything but sit at home watching tv? help?

Have you tried writing? Or maybe trying your hand at drawing? When I was younger I was really depressed and I had a hard time getting out of my rut till I started writing. I wrote deep, heartbreaking poems about how I felt and I actually got a handful of them published. I used my pain to express poems and stories that people could connect with. I drew trees and sometimes things that weren't so appealing to the eyes but I was getting out my pain. I would walk around my neighborhood to get fresh air and that made me feel happy. I know how it feels to be abandoned by friends and see that they are well alive by their social updates. That's why I deleted my facebook, and instagram. But there's a world well alive around you waiting to be discovered. Sitting inside looking at TV can be entertaining and sometimes a good time pass, but it's not your only outlet. Till that boyfriend of yours comes home, spend some time on you.

Might be an idea to get a holiday job or something to keep you busy. The good thing about a job is you get money =] Other than that maybe photography or creative things like @Ashlie said. Reading is another great way. Over facebook depending if you are competitive or not you can put up status' about stuff you are doing and just stop messaging them or you can go on hiatus with social networking sites. Doing some sports and excercising is good at giving you endorphins and making you healthy too.
