how should i come out as trans (ftm) to my mum??

i’ve kind of just accepted after like 2 years of beating around the bush that i’m trans (ftm) and i really just want to start transitioning, but i’m super scared of coming out to my mum and most of my family because most of them are religious. any advice would be very much appreciated ;-;
