How do you stop wanting something?

0

I have a thing that I really want to do, but I will never do it, it just WON’T happen. It is studying in japanese school. I know it is not like anime and it is not all unicorns and rainbows, but that is a thing I REALLY want to experience. I want it so much that I cry when I think about it, I cry writing it right now.
But that’s just not gonna happen and I’m serious. Next year is my last, even if I win a scolarship I can’t afford it and the exams, so… That’s just not gonna happen. Ever. Next year I will graduate and this dream will be closed forever. It is closed even now. How do I stop wanting it so much then?

No, I can't. There isn't any programme for this in my country, and exception is for the ones who study Japanese (my career will be IT), but as guys from there say - it is only through good connections.

How about a study abroad thing? You could apply and just add one more year after you graduate, to studying. One of my cousins wanted to experience something similar so after the 12th grade, he applied for a study abroad or something similar like that (a programme he found when researching) and then he went and repeated the 12th grade after which he finally went off to college. You don't necessarily have to repeat a year, but just do something similar for a semester or something?

If you're an Au Pair, au get to live with a family (you take care of their kids) and to go to college (half time). You make money, meet the locals and experience their way of life, and you get to go to school. Maybe you could do that ?
