How do you deal with an ex-love that still talks to you?

I met my boyfriend on an online game, and found out he lived in another state, 7 hours away. Before we started dating, I came over to his house once and visited him to make sure the feelings were really, really there. And they were. We started a long distance relationship and I would visit him around once a month. It was kind of hard at first, but nine months after that, I moved in with him, to his state, and to be honest I could not be happier(I've lived with him for a while now).

Being far apart doesn't make things impossible, it just makes things hard. Things like Skype and other video-chatting programs help at least a little! Possibly start saving up so you can at least visit each other every now and then, it really doesn't have to be over unless you guys want it to be!

Mabye nows the best time to start creating some distance . Although you may still be friends living in each others back pockets isn't really ideal unless you're both keen to try again ?

Depends on if you want to continue the friendship. If you want to distance yourself, talk to him and explain how you feel, how you need some time, etc. If you want to continue the relationship, texting and planning weekly/montly meet ups help.
