anyways though, you'd think my mom would have guessed by the time i told her, but i think she had been (still is) in denial. She never was against the lgbt community until her daughter was gay haha. She basically has been telling me that its a phase, it isnt normal and that its just a recent fad as of the 2000s. i think that is bullshit. but i know she loves me even though she is weird about it. she will come around, i think for parents change can be really hard when it is their child. they spend your life growing up putting these ideas out saying oh i wonder if he/she will be a lawyer, a vet, a clown, will they breeze through life or have struggles, will they do this or do that. Then when you put a new thing out there, that you are gay, it kindof throws it off for them sometimes. With every parent it is different and individual, and i send you the best of luck. it may be hard to tell them but it will feel good being honest. and who knows, they might even have the idea that you're gay already! c:
