This swing from one end of the spectrum to the other is very normal; it's a physiological response to deprivation and hunger (binging is). Ideally, you would eat regular and sufficient meals, but I know that's easier said than done, especially when you're struggling with body image issues.I realize you're on here to get help with this, but it's a process and will take continued work on your part. I would highly recommend finding a therapist and meeting at least 1X weekly. Perhaps you could even find an eating disorder support group to help you through the body image struggle. Good luck

I totally understand, I found myself having issues with BED. It was difficult for me to get over it. This girl Cambria's videos on youtube really helped me (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uFuOEA0oKWY) she has really great advice that helped me. If you ever need to talk I'm here! Best of luck to you.

Food is a problem unlike any other thing used for comfort. Some people do drugs, drink alcohol, or do other kinds of destructive behaviors. To a point it is easy to say "just stop" for those. You have to go cold turkey on all addictions, but food. Food is needed to survive so this is hard to manage.I think it might help if you looked into meal planning and making a nutrition program for yourself and try to stick to it. It is normal to want to eat everything in site if you have starved yourself the day before. The brain needs food every day. Maybe start by planning when and what you eat on a daily basis. You will be healthier that way along with ensuring you don't overdo one way or the other each day.If you have the money or insurance, it could be really helpful to go see a nutritionist. They are really good hat helping with this stuff. Eating the right foods can boost metabolism and maybe help you feel healthy. This does not help your body image issue, but it is a step in the right direction. Being healthy is far more important than weight. =)I wish you the best of luck.
